Plonk: analysis and visualisation of smoothed particle hydrodynamics data in Python

Abstract: Plonk is an open source Python package for analysis and visualisation of smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulation data. Plonk is built on top of the scientific Python ecosystem, including NumPy, Matplotlib, Cython, h5py, SymPy, and pandas. The visualisation module uses Splash to produce images using smoothed particle hydrodynamics interpolation.
